About Tribute Brand
Tribute Brand was founded in 2020 as the world’s first direct-to-consumer digital fashion company.
Driven by the belief that fashion should minimize waste and maximize self-expression, Tribute has pioneered the use of digital tools to enhance creativity, while minimizing the negative impact of creating and consuming fashion.
Their idea that clothes could be created for social media, quickly drew excitement from celebrities like Charli XCX and Kim Petras and publications like DAZED, PAPER and Bloomberg. Less than a year into producing what Vogue USA termed ‘clothes which consumers can buy and paste onto themselves’ the brand had grown a cult following and was invited to create its ‘Instagram Couture’ for Jean Paul Gaultier and Carolina Herrera.
Under the belief that fashion will span multiple realities, shortly after their first digital fashion line was launched Tribute Brand created and sold out their first physical couture drop. Since then the brand has continued to create physical collections which reflect their values of environmental conservation and creative expression (PUNK 2022; ODDS 2023)
In lieu with their physical fashion creation Tribute has built a reputation as a leading fashion technology developer too. With the question of how fashion can be created and worn in a way that minimizes waste at the core of the brand’s ethos, they’ve pioneered developments in extended reality, generative creation, augmented reality and artificial intelligence.
